  3. 2020 Morrow County Dairy Association Scholarship (Dairy Farm Family Members)

    The Morrow County Dairy Association will be sponsoring two or more $500 scholarships to qualified candidates.  The scholarships will be awarded to students whose parents own and operate an active dairy farm.  Students may major in any field of study which leads to a post-high school degree.  Applications are due to our office by January 24, 2020.  Click on the link below for all the details and an application!

  5. Farm Bill Update: Agricultural Risk Coverage (ARC)/Price Loss Coverage (PLC)

    Join us on Tuesday, December 3rd at 6:00 p.m. for a Farm Bill Update.  The 2018 Farm Bill allows the choice to enroll in ARC or PLC for 2019-2023.  Enrollment for 2019 is currently open with the deadline set as March 15, 2020.  Click on the link below for all the details.

  7. Pesticide & Fertilizer Meeting Dates for 2020

    ​​​​​​​If your Pesticide license and Fertilizer certificate expires this year, we have listed below the dates available to you. Please call our office to sign up for the Morrow County classes. (419-947-1070)  The class will be held at the Ag Credit Building Second Floor Conference Room.  This class is free to Morrow County residents (out-of-county - $35).

  10. Free - Pressure Canning & Dial Gauge Testing

    OSU Extension Morrow County tests the accuracy of pressure canner dial gauges. Dial gauges on pressure canners need to be tested every year to make sure the pressure is reading correctly.  Gauges that read high cause under-processing and may result in unsafe food.  Low readings cause over-processing.  An accurate gauge is essential for safety!
