On April 1st, 2020 everyone in our country will get counted in the Census. Each home will receive an invitation to respond to a short questionnaire—online, by phone or by mail. Results of the Census questionnaire help determine how $675 billion in federal funding is allocated to states and communities, including our own.
When you respond to the census, you help your community get a fair share of the federal funding for schools, hospitals, roads, senior and children services, housing and homelessness, police and fire services, developmental disabilities, parks and recreation, childcare access, and many more impactful programs.
EVERY OHIOAN COUNTS! The census only comes around every 10 years so make sure you and your household are counted in the 2020 Census. For an example of the questionnaire and other frequently asked questions regarding the census, visit 2020census.gov
