Jr. Chefs in the Kitchen is a hands-on cooking and nutrition program for youth ages 9–12, consisting of two 2.5-hour sessions and a follow-up session.
Participants build confidence in the kitchen while learning essential skills and developing healthy habits in a fun, supportive environment. Youth work together to prepare a meal, gaining teamwork and a sense of accomplishment.
At the end of session two, participants will leave with food and kitchen items to help them recreate the meals they prepared and enjoyed. Plan to attend all three sessions in 2026.
